Beber Ketidakpastian Hidup di Masa Pandemi, Gloria Jessica Hadirkan EP ‘What Are We Now?’

Pada lagu ini, Gloria merasa takjub dengan kapasitas setiap kolaboratornya untuk bersama-sama membentuk trek menjadi versi terbaiknya.

Baginya, setiap lagu punya takdirnya sendiri, dan tugas para seniman adalah mewujudkannya.

Untuk pengerjaan musik ‘What Are We Now?’, Gloria bekerja sama dengan produser, Iyub, yang turut andil membantu pengerjaan lagu-lagunya sejak akhir tahun 2018, antara lain ‘Hold On’, ‘Buka Mata’, dan ‘Berlalu’.

“Bekerja dengan Iyub selalu memuaskan. Ada surprise dan twist-nya. Saat masuk produksi, aku nggak terbayang hasil akhir dari laguku akan seperti apa. Tetapi kita bekerja sama secara mutual untuk mencipta lewat eksplorasi,” ujar penyanyi berusia 28 tahun ini.

Di sisi lain, materi visual untuk single ini dikerjakannya bersama art director Liko Sukhoy. “Senang bisa bertemu orang-orang yang tepat, yang bisa menuangkan isi kepalaku,” kata Gloria. ana
