iniSURABAYA – Lake Toba has some breath-taking spots that travelers must not miss to visit, namely Situmurun waterfall or well-known as Binangalom waterfall in Toba Samosir Regency.

And there is also Gantung Stove in Simalungun Regency. This human sized hanging stone is also alluring for the travelers, not to mention the legend history behind it.

Other than that, there’s Parapat, an amusing little town at the lake side. There are many hotels and visitors can also swim in an artificial beach along the lake side, and they can also find the exile house of Ir. Soekarno the Indonesia’s first president in this town.

For the tourists who want to enjoy the great architecture of Batak traditional house, village of tenun ulos handicraft or the tomb of Batak Kingdom must not miss to visit Samosir island right at the centre of the lake Toba.

The beauty of lake Toba is now can be accessed through Google Street View in any devices. It took 8 days for taking the detailed pictures in every corner.

The photo shoot was taken on July, 30th to August, 7th 2018 with a tracker equipped with 15 camera lenses with 360 degree view. The tracker was installed on the people of Batak tribe’s traditional boats to allow the tourists explore the world biggest volcanic lake, this is also include visiting Gantung stone and Situmurin waterfall Binangalom. sum
